After experiencing relief from a debilitating shoulder and neck problem after just two Bowen Treatments, Belinda knew she had to learn how this amazing therapy worked.
Using her new qualification within her massage business, Belinda and her clients were amazed and thrilled with the rapid results her clients experienced with Bowen Therapy.
The more Bowen work Belinda did the more she needed to learn and completed her Diploma of Specialise Bowen Therapy in 2012.
Belinda’s Bowen Therapy journey has finally led her to complete her Instructor training and offers the Nationally recognised Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy (10533NAT) . She is excited to teach others the wonders of Bowen Therapy. Courses are held in Yamba (Far North NSW).
Bowen Therapy – is a non-invasive, gentle approach to pain relief and healing.
Bowen Therapy uses gentle soft tissue or fascial release technique on specific muscles, tendons and joints. Forceful manipulation is not used. Instead Bowen Therapy involves a light cross-fibre maneuvering of the muscle or tendon, helping to relieve muscle tension, fascial constriction and inflammation thus reducing pain and increasing movement.
Remedial/Deep Tissue Massage – Using deep slow strokes and pressure point therapy helps the body’s muscles and tendons return to normal health after injury or other muscular-skeletal disorders.
Swedish/Relaxation Massage – helps de-stress, loosen up your body. Treat yourself to some TLC
Hot Stone Massage – Warm basalt stones are used as part of the massage to melt away “built up” tension relaxing not only surface muscles but also deeper level muscles.
Lymphatic Drainage – to stimulate lymphatic fluid movement an integral role in the immune functions of the body which is the first line of defense against sickness and disease.
Also used in the treatment of Lymphoedema, post surgery or trauma.

Matilda is a 1964 Split Screen Kombi, totally restored to her once former beauty.. Matilda came to us from South Africa, originally found in Zimbabwe in not the best condition, she was pulled apart and every nut and bolt and panel was restored. She was originally born in Germany and exported to South Africa, then onto Zimbabwe, where she lived her life for many years until she was found by a man who wanted to restore her to how she once was. She was taken to Munster in South Africa to be restored and given a beautiful new lease on life. Then in 2018, Matilda made her last journey and sailed across the Indian Ocean to come to her forever home with us in Yamba. Now she is waiting to make your special day fun, memorable and to get you to your destination in Unique Style.

Yamba Museum is conveniently situated on spacious grounds with ample off-street parking and easy wheelchair access, visitors have often described as the finest small historical collection on Australia’s East Coast.
The museum is noted for its extensive display of photographs extending back to Yamba’s early beginnings. Many books and objects portray Yamba slowly developing into one of today’s key seaports, fishing centres and surfing/holiday destinations in northern New South Wales.
Incorporated into the Yamba Museum Precinct is The Old Kirk. This beautiful heritage building built in 1921 was once the Yamba Presbyterian Church and continues to be an integral part of the town’s social and cultural fabric.
Linking The Old Kirk and the museum is the Story Garden, a reflective natural sanctuary that enhances this unique cultural, exhibition and celebration space.
